Ordered 4 baby back racks and they were a great quality of meat but they were so small. Such a bummer for the price. I’ve ordered from here a bunch previously also.
Service and delivery speed was excellent. So easy to order. Meat quality is the best in the business
We have been purchasing Creekstone Farms meats for 5 years. We were surprised to learn that high end restaurants in our area serve Creekstone meats as well. The ribs are simple to cook and delicious. I just season and pop them in 425 degree oven for 30 minutes then coat BBQ sauce for anoth 15 minutes. They taste fabulous !
For starters I had a heck of time getting any of the silver skin off, it was so thin I couldn't get it pulled away without it ripping. Ended up cross hatching it like I do my beef ribs. After a 6 hr smoke at 220, 3 hours of those wrapped, I usually end up with drippings all over the place and bones falling out; barely had two tablespoons from these and they were tough. Had a good smoke ring all the way around, even where I couldn't get the silver skin off, and they did taste good. Overall, can't say the price is worth it; I may try a set of their st louis cut to see if they cook better, but for now I can't see how they stand out from the 3 pack at the local costco for the money.
Came out very tasty and juicy. 4 hrs clock time. 2hrs on the smoker. 1.5 hrs wrapped on the grill. .5 hrs unwrapped to tack up the sauce. Big hit at Memorial Day BBQ.
