Bought this to cut up my own steaks. Creekstone farms is far superior to anything I can get around here and is much cheaper too. First off, it's even hard to find Prime beef around here and then it's expensive at that. I did buy some Prime beef from Sam's Club and it was OK but nothing like what I get from Creekstone.

Carversteak was offering Creekstone Prime Rib on their pre fixe menu. We didn't have it, because I make the best Creekstone Prime Rib at home.

I cut the full ribeye into two 5lb roasts and about five steaks, vacuum pack and freeze.

It was an excellent cut of beef, tender and marbled well , the roast was on the heavier side of the weight described. I was very satisfied, I ended up with 18 -1” thick steaks.
