I paid full price for these ribs and they were closer to the sizes I was accustomed to getting in previous years. I am thinking that the ribs that go on sale are typically much smaller than the ones that are full price. The quality of these ribs were quite nice and I was very happy with how they turned out. One thing I am upset about is that I have yet to receive a carry bag that has not torn apart at the seams. The new cloth bags are not holding up during shipping and are always torn / unusable. I would really like to use these bags and it is nice that they are included but I have to trash them every time because they come out of the box destroyed. The old plastic bags were much more durable. In something like 10 or 20 boxes ordered, I have not received a single cloth bag intact.
We have purchased these ribs several times in the past. The first two times the rib bones were much longer (9 inches or so). We also bought these on sale and the bones were at least 3 inches shorter. We paid full price for our last purchase but the bones are only 6 inches long. Probably won't be buying any more from Creekstone.
Great looking ribs. I'm looking forward to smoking them for Christmas eve dinner. They arrived in 2 days as promised. The price and shipping rates were the best Ive found. Very satisfied. Will be purchasing more
Just know what you're getting so you're not disappointed. One rack will be so beefy and satisfying, and the other will be good for when you just have a hankering. Lots of fat that could be trimmed closer too since you don't want to be removing it after the cook.
It comes packaged with 2 4 bone ribs. The first one that I made had great taste but a little short on meat. The second one had great taste and a lot of meat. I will order again. Very satisfied with the product.
