I've ordered from Creekstone several times in the past, and have been pleased with the quality of their products. This time I ordered some Duroc back ribs and butts. While I haven't yet prepared these items, I'm a bit disappointed in the weights of what I ordered. The order site says the butts will be 7-9 lbs each (they are). The site also says the back ribs will be 2.5-3 lbs per rack. Only 1 of the 4 racks weighed 2.5 lbs +. Ive always thought of Creekstone as a premium supplier, but if they're going to charge premium prices, they need to deliver the goods better than they did this time.
I received this package and one pork but was about 30% smaller than the other. Very frustrating I understand that it could be 6 to 9lbs each but it should be a choice either 2-6lbs ones for a price or 2-9lbs for a higher price. I put a note to please pick out closer to 9lbs each since I was making these for a fund raiser and looks like it was not read or it was and not taken seriously. Ridiculous! Now I am stuck like chuck!

Smoked a pork butt and two racks of ribs Saturday before Easter..... I was very very satisfied with both the ribs and the pork butt.....my oldest son 🤗 is also a BBQ type back yard guy like me and after tasting the pulled pork made a comment that it's a shame we can't get pork that great tasting around where we live in Ohio. He said he was definitely going to check you all out 😊😊..... BTW, I did my smoking on the gateway drum and everything turned out great. The ribs weren't as meaty as I by from Walmart but flavor wise was much better...... I had gottem the pork combo and you all included an extra rack of baby back ribs..... I do thank you and will order again 😊😊
The quality of these cuts and the flavor of the duroc will have everyone very happy at your BBQ.
