I ordered for the first time from Creekstone, 2 ribeye steaks. Upon delivery I was only shipped 1 steak. It looked like the shipping box had been opened and then closed again. The steak that was left was the worst looking ribeye steak I have ever seen. I called Creekstone and they offered me a $25 credit which they issued, and I said how about the shipping cost. The girl just laughed and said we do not do that. Evidently I'm not the only this has happened too. I definitely will not buy from this company again and I am contacting my AMEX card to refund me the charge.
I ordered 8 total ribeye choice steaks, they were reasonably priced which hasn't been the case since the new ownership. I received only 4, and 2 of the 4 were questionable lower grade choice (the other 2 were upper/mid). The steaks were also very thin, maybe 1 inch. When I reached out to customer service they offered to sent me the missing steaks next shipping day, but were not impressed by my concerns over the grading. I've been a Creekstone customer, including wholesale case purchases, for around a decade and this was not the type of customer service I've had prior to the new ownership. After a few emails I asked for a refund on the missing steaks and was given it. But the change in customer service and quality is noticeable and really sad. Creekstone was by far my favorite beef brand and I was willing to pay a premium because of the quality and service, but both are slipping.
